We are a small and friendly 6-bedroom residential care home providing personalised support for adults with learning disabilities. Our home is a safe, welcoming, and person-centred environment where each individual is encouraged to live as independently and fully as possible. We take pride in being a tight-knit team that values kindness, respect, and genuine care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalised support with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, medication, and household activities
• Encourage independence, choice, and involvement in all aspects of life
• Support residents in accessing the community, attending appointments, and participating in social and recreational activities
• Build positive relationships based on trust, consistency, and respect
• Promote safeguarding and ensure a safe, caring environment at all times
• Maintain clear and accurate records in line with care plans and procedures
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to ensure high-quality support

What We’re Looking For:

• A warm, friendly, and patient approach
• Genuine interest in supporting people with learning disabilities to lead fulfilling lives
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Previous experience in a care or support role is helpful but not essential — full training provided
• Flexibility to work shifts including some evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
• Commitment to promoting dignity, rights, and independence
• A willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check and relevant training

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
