Shifts: 8am-10pm

Autism Pathways is a specialist provider of high-quality accommodation and support for adults with autism and complex needs. We are proud to be launching a brand-new, purpose-built residential service in Hawarden. The Role: What You'll Be Doing

As a Support Worker, you'll be at the heart of someone's daily life. You'll work closely with individuals to help them live safely, confidently, and independently—whether that's supporting them with personal care, helping them prepare meals, or joining them in community-based activities.

Your role will be varied, meaningful, and deeply rewarding. You'll be part of a team that provides:

Daily living support – assisting with routines such as cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene

Emotional and behavioural support – helping individuals manage complex behaviours with patience and understanding

Community engagement – supporting individuals to access activities, appointments, and social opportunities

Communication and advocacy – helping individuals express their needs and preferences

Monitoring and documentation – keeping accurate records and contributing to care plans

Safety and wellbeing – ensuring the environment is safe and supportive, using assistive technology and SMART home features

You'll be working in a highly structured setting with 1:1, 2:1 or 3:1 support ratios, tailored activity programmes, and purpose-built apartments designed for both safety and independence.

Flexible and reliable – willing to work a range of shifts including weekends

Committed to learning – open to training and development, including working towards a Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care

Experience in autism, learning disabilities, or complex behavioural needs is desirable but not essential. What matters most is your attitude, values, and willingness to make a difference.
