What they need
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Part Time Support Worker to join our dedicated team based in Swansea working 24 hours per week.
In this role, you will support people to build relationships, try new things, and feel part of their community - so that they can live good lives.
Holding a full UK driving licence is mandatory for this role.
About the home
We are three adults living together in a comfortable four-bedroom home in the Clydach area. With the support of our staff team, we enjoy a variety of activities throughout the week that help us stay active, connected, and fulfilled. Our weekly routines often include going for walks, swimming sessions, arts and crafts, listening to music, and taking part in local community events. Staff support us in planning our days, attending appointments, and managing personal care, always in a way that respects our individual preferences and promotes our independence. With the right support, we're able to enjoy a safe, happy, and meaningful life in our shared home.
About Mirus
For 40 years, we have provided support so people can do the things they love, achieve their goals, and live good lives - always with voice, choice, and control.
We support people with learning disabilities, mental ill-health, and autistic people. Our services are shaped by the people who use them - we listen to and value each person's unique voice and experiences, creating an environment where everyone feels heard and understood.
We know that people have better lives when they feel part of their community - and the community benefits too! That's why we work with others to build networks that encourage people to explore opportunities, discover new interests, develop relationships, and enhance their independence.
Everything we do is guided by our values: Together, Respectful, Responsible, Empowering, and Courageous.
