New Era Residence is a growing, values-led care provider supporting young people and adults aged 16–25 with Mental Health needs, Learning Disabilities and/or Autism.

We’re looking for an experienced Team Leader to lead shifts, support our care team and help the people we support achieve greater independence, confidence and positive outcomes.

The Role

This is a day-based Team Leader position working a two-week rolling shift pattern:

Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday

Shift times: 8:00am–8:00pm

You’ll:

• Lead and coordinate shifts and support the care team.
• Deliver person-centred support in line with care plans and risk assessments.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice and inclusion.
• Support Positive Behaviour Support and respond calmly to challenging situations.
• Promote safeguarding and effective risk management.
• Maintain accurate care records using Nourish.
• Support care plan reviews, audits and quality improvement.
• Build positive relationships with families and professionals.

About You

Essential:

• Previous experience as a Team Leader or in a senior care role.
• Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Experience supporting people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs and/or complex needs.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and Positive Behaviour Support.
• Strong leadership, communication and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to remain calm and confident under pressure.
• Commitment to the 8am–8pm shift pattern.

Desirable:

• Experience within a CQC-registered residential service.
• Care Certificate.
• Full UK driving licence.

Important

We do not offer visa sponsorship and cannot accommodate 20-hour work restrictions. Candidates must be able to commit to the full shift pattern.
