Support Worker/Care Worker

Halas Homes is a local charity that provides quality care and support for adults with learning disabilities. We are looking for a motivated and caring individual to provide person centred support to adults with learning disabilities in Halesowen.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing practical and emotional support to people with a learning disability.
• Identify opportunities for social inclusion with tenants.
• Work with tenants, staff team, families and involved professionals to meet the needs of tenants.
• Assisting your manager with the day to day running of the service.

Experience of working with people with a learning disability and a relevant qualification is desirable but not a necessity.

You must have a warm and friendly disposition and work in a person-centred way with people who have a learning disability. You must be patient, adaptable and of a caring nature.

You will be expected to work to a rota including evenings and weekends.

We have fulltime/part time and bank positions availablke

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.82 per hour
