Support Worker/Personal Assistant

Job Description To support a 6-year-old boy with ASD, ADHD, and Pica with communication difficulties (primarily non-verbal). He has significant supervision needs due to his diagnoses.

Hours Available

10 hours per week during term time

Additional 16 hours per week during school holidays

Working Pattern Monday to Friday evenings.

Rate of Pay

£13.00 per hour

Duties (Day to Day)

Expected Duties Would Be To supervise and maintain his safety inside and outside of the family home.

To engage him in meaningful activities.

To support him in play.

Transport to and from school or activities.

Trips out.

Community-based activities.

Involvement in hobbies.

Essential Skills We're looking for someone who:

Is naturally kind, caring and respectful.

Has patience and understanding.

Has Experience Of Working With Children With Additional Needs. Has lots of energy and patience.

Has a kind and caring nature.

DBS

An enhanced DBS check will be required before employment commences; this cost will be met by the employer.
