Support Workers

NDIS and Aged Care Support Workers needed !!

About the role
Home Caring are seeking casual Support Workers to join their team in the Botany area. We require Support Workers who are available for morning, noon and afternoon and evening shifts and are experienced with either Aged Care and NDIS participants.

What you'll be doing

1. Personal care and daily living assistance.
2. Community access and transport support.
3. Medication assistance and documentation.
4. Following behaviour support strategies and care plans.
5. Promoting independence while maintaining safety and wellbeing.
6. Reporting any changes in participant condition or needs to the care team
7. Maintaining accurate records and documentation
8. Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

What we're looking for

1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
2. The ability to work independently and as part of a team
3. A caring, patient, and empathetic nature
4. A Certificate III in Disability, Aged Care or equivalent qualification
5. A current First Aid and CPR certificate
6. A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
7. A current NDIS/Aged Care workers screening check
