Support Workers - Complex Care (TBI, Spinal Injuries & High Needs Support)

Life Plus is seeking compassionate, reliable, and skilled Support Workers to join our team supporting clients living with traumatic brain injuries (TBI), spinal cord injuries, and other complex care needs within their own homes.

We currently have casual opportunities available for:

• Weekend shifts
• Wakeover shifts
• Sleepover shifts
• Day and evening shifts (as available)

About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to help clients maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. Depending on the client's needs, duties may include:

• Personal cares
• Hoisting and transfers
• Medication assistance
• Meal preparation
• Community access and social support
• Rehabilitation and independence-focused support
• Monitoring and reporting changes in client wellbeing

What We're Looking For

• NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 3 or above (or equivalent)
• Experience supporting clients with complex care needs
• Experience working with clients who have TBI, spinal injuries, neurological conditions, or high support needs
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• A caring, professional, and reliable approach
• Full New Zealand Driver Licence and reliable transport
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand
