Our team has a strong pipeline of projects covering project appraisals, design, construction supervision, and client secondment opportunities. We are committed to supporting your professional development through tailored training, mentoring, and opportunities to work towards a recognised project management qualification, such as Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) status with the Association for Project Management (APM).

Key Responsibilities As a Graduate Project Manager, you will:

  • Support the planning, monitoring, and control of projects, including scope, time, cost, resources, risk, and procurement.
  • Assist with contract administration, primarily under the NEC Professional Services Contract.
  • Contribute to financial reporting for both clients and the business.
  • Manage tasks effectively to meet agreed deadlines and project milestones.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing project proposals, budgets, and cost estimates.
  • Support the assessment of commercial risks during the project bidding and sales process.

About You We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about project management and passionate about delivering projects that benefit communities and the environment. You will ideally demonstrate the following:

  • A degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline, or a degree in another discipline supported by strong STEM A-level qualifications.
  • A genuine interest in water, environmental, flood risk, and coastal erosion management projects.
  • A commitment to working towards a recognised professional qualification in project management.
  • A proactive approach to learning, developing technical skills, and progressing your career.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
