Surface Engineer (Shift Engineer)

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently plan, control production, and execute quality control for the electroplating process in zinc die casting.
• Plan, adjust, control, and maintain all components of the zinc die casting electroplating production line, including the control and documentation of all specific parameters.
• Plan, control production, and execute quality control for the color printing and product packaging processes.
• Manage quality control of the wastewater treatment process to ensure full compliance with all legal regulations and requirements.
• Accurately manage quality control of chemical analysis processes in the laboratory.
• Support production by managing and controlling manpower, and communicate effectively with the team and relevant stakeholders to achieve team and company goals.
• Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational techniques to ensure unified and standardized practices across the team.
• Collaborate with an international team as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or a related science field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in production and manpower planning, surface coating, and plating on zinc/brass surfaces. Strong background as a chemist with expertise in electroplating, wastewater treatment, and laboratory processes.
• Deep knowledge and direct experience in electroplating.
• Strong interest and inquisitiveness in solving technical problems.
• Leadership qualities, ability to motivate others, strong teamwork skills, openness to new experiences, and flexibility.
• Able to shift work.
• Analytical mindset with a commitment to continuous quality improvement through coordination with other departments; possesses a hands-on attitude.
• Strong commitment to developing, growing, and learning new things within the organization.
• Good command of English (Speaking, Reading, and Writing).
• Able to work in Klaeng, Rayong (not have shuttle bus).
