*JOB DESCRIPTION* Job Title - *Surface Grinding* Location: Kochi Department: Tool Room / Manufacturing Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Experience: 1–5 Years *Key Responsibilities* ✔ Operate and set up surface grinding machines for precision grinding operations ✔ Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining specifications ✔ Grind moulds, dies, inserts, punches, plates, and tooling components to specified tolerances ✔ Ensure dimensional accuracy, flatness, parallelism, and superior surface finish. ✔ Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments. ✔ Select and dress grinding wheels based on material and application requirements ✔ Follow quality standards, safety procedures, and preventive machine maintenance. *Required Skills* #Surface Grinding Machine Operation # Engineering Drawing Interpretation # Precision Grinding Techniques # Tool Room Manufacturing # Mould & Die Components # Precision Measuring Instruments (Vernier, Micrometre, Height Gauge, Dial Indicator, Slip Gauges) Quality Inspection & Dimensional Control *Preferred Experience* ✅ Tool Room Manufacturing ✅ Mould & Die Manufacturing ✅ Precision Engineering Components ✅ Automotive Tooling ✅ Jigs & Fixtures Manufacturing
