Surg Tech - North Austin

Surgical Technologist Location: North Austin, TX 78759

Pay: $28–$30/hour (Depending on experience)

Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30/8:00 AM –4:30/5:00 PM

About The Role Our client is looking for an experienced Surgical Technologist to join their team, support surgical procedures by preparing the OR, scrubbing in, and ensuring instruments and supplies are sterile and ready.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and set up sterile fields, instruments, and supplies
• Scrub in and assist surgeons during procedures
• Sterilize, process, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
• Follow all infection control, sterile technique, and safety protocols
• Count instruments and supplies before and after each case
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia staff to keep cases on schedule

Requirements

• Graduate of a surgical technology program

• National certification required (in addition to completing school):

• Surgical Tech: NCCT or NBSTA

• Hands-on experience scrubbing in on surgical cases and/or sterilizing instruments (hospital OR or surgery center)
