Option 1 Staffing is seeking an experienced Surgery Scheduler with excellent customer service skills to join the growing team of Healthcare Specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review reports to identify appointments that need scheduling
• Contact patients to schedule appointments
• Document scheduled appointments in the EPIC system
• Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize workflow
• Answer patient questions

Qualifications:

• 2 (two)+ years of experience scheduling surgeries in the Healthcare field
• Experience with verification of insurance
• Top notch customer service skills
• Very detail oriented and professional
• Experience handling medical records a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle high volume scheduling
• Medical Terminology knowledge required
