Legacy Oral Surgery is expanding, and we're adding an experienced front office professional to help keep our surgical practice running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who already knows the rhythm of a dental front desk and is ready to bring that experience to a busy, specialized practice working alongside some of the top oral surgeons in the state.

What You'll Do

• Welcome and check in patients, helping them feel calm and cared for before their procedures
• Coordinate consultations, surgical appointments, and follow-up visits across a fast-moving schedule
• Help patients understand their insurance coverage and estimated costs for treatment
• Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and serve as a key link between patients and our surgical and clinical team
• Keep the front office organized and efficient on even the busiest days

What We're Looking For

• Required: Previous front desk experience in a dental office
• Solid working knowledge of dental terminology and front office procedures
• Ability to hit the ground running. We'll train you on our practice software, but you should be comfortable with the day-to-day of a dental front desk from day one.
• Strong communication skills and a calm, positive attitude under pressure
• General understanding of PPO dental insurance plans, including coverage, deductibles, and patient portions
• Basic math skills for calculating estimates, payments, and balances

Nice to Have

• Experience in an oral surgery practice
• Experience editing treatment plans in conjunction with a patient's insurance benefits
