Surgical Tech - CVOR CST

Role: CVOR Tech specializing in Cardio OR

Responsibilities:

• Scrub in various surgical procedures including orthopedics, neurology, vascular, robotics, urology, general, and gynecology
• Assist in cardiac surgeries and other specialties as needed
• Provide call coverage and work every other weekend
• Float to different departments when required
• Maintain accurate charting in Cerner electronic system

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of surgical tech experience
• Must be able to single scrub cardiac procedures
• Required licenses and certifications: BLS and CST via NBSTSA

Key Duties Support surgical teams in a fast-paced acute care environment, ensuring sterile technique and efficient procedure flow. Adapt to various specialties and assist as first scrub in cardiac surgeries. Maintain compliance with licensing and certification requirements. Be prepared for call duty and floating responsibilities.
