Surgical Technician

Regenerative Orthopaedics Surgery Center is looking for a Full-Time Surgical Scrub Technician to join a team of great surgeons and surgery center staff! This person needs to be hard working, reliable, experienced and a team player. ROSC is an orthopedic and spine ambulatory surgery center located on the Southside of Atlanta.

Surgical scrub technicians assist surgeons at the sterile field by providing appropriate and adequate sterile instruments and other supplies during procedures. They prepare patients, rooms and equipment for pending surgical procedures. They are a vital member of our OR team; they are the expert in sterilization technique and safety measures that produce the best outcomes for the patient.

Essential Functions:

• Scrubs major and minor procedures
• Sets up operating room and instruments
• Assists in post-operative cleaning
• Documents all pertinent and meaningful observations and information as needed
• Responsible for patient care through the surgical scrub process
• Maintains standards required by regulatory entities
• Performs other duties as assigned

Surgical Technologist (CST) Requirements:

· BLS (Current American Heart Association Heart saver)

· Prefer at least one year of scrub experience
