Surgical Technologist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel. This role requires a strong understanding of patient care, medical-surgical procedures, infection control, and hospital protocols.

Duties:

• Prepare operating rooms for surgery

• Set up surgical instruments and equipment

• Assist the surgical team during procedures

• Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgical process

• Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during surgery

• Monitor and manage patient safety during procedures

• Inventory supplies

Skills:

• Proficient in patient care techniques
• Knowledge of medical-surgical procedures and systems
• Understanding of infection control practices
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex medical information
• Familiarity with hospital medicine protocols
