Surgical Technologist (CVOR)

Certified Surgical Technologist – Cardiac / Thoracic / Vascular

We’re looking for an experienced CST with strong Cardiac, Thoracic, or Vascular surgery experience to join a hospital OR team.

Location: West Virginia

Start: Late October – Early November

Shifts: Open shifts; clinician preferences considered

Call: 1 night/week + 1 weekend/month

Response Time: 30 minutes

On-Call Housing: Available as needed

Cases You’ll Support

Cardiac: CABG, valve repair/replacement, ECMO, and transplant

Thoracic: Robotic, endoscopic, and open procedures, including lung resection, VATS, esophageal procedures, POEM, hiatal hernia repair, mediport, EGD, and GI/respiratory stents

Vascular: Angiography, percutaneous interventions, endarterectomy, dialysis access, AAA repair, visceral arterial procedures, and amputations

Facility Details

• Initial onboarding at Ruby for at least 1 week before transitioning to Berkeley Medical Center
• 1-week OR orientation
• May float to other services within the Berkeley OR
• Charge person present daily in the OR
• Hospital-provided Ceil blue surgical scrubs
• CSTs do not cover Sterile Processing
• Holiday call as needed

Requirements

• Strong Cardiac, Thoracic, or Vascular surgery experience
• Experienced CST with hospital OR experience
