Surgical Technologist - CVOR, Weekend Option

Role Overview: This position involves assisting physicians during surgeries across multiple specialties in the Operating Room (OR), performing technical tasks and some patient care duties under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role functions as a clinical specialist, maintaining surgical specialties, serving as a resource, and engaging in detailed surgical procedures related to the department.

Key Responsibilities: Facilitate patient care during surgery, support physicians, and perform technical and patient care duties. Act as a resource across various service lines and handle additional responsibilities to maintain surgical specialties.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required; graduate of a Surgical Technology or LPN program required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Surgical Tech Certification, or 7 years of experience in lieu of certification, totaling 10 years of surgical tech experience.
• Current BCLS certification required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) upon hire required.
