Langhorne Surgery Center is looking for a dependable Surgical Technologist to join our surgical team. Our outpatient facility performs pain management and ophthalmology procedures, offering the opportunity to work alongside healthcare professionals committed to safe, efficient, high-quality patient care.

About the Role

As a Surgical Technologist, you’ll help ensure procedures run smoothly by preparing the operating room, organizing instruments, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting physicians and nursing staff throughout surgical cases.

What You’ll Do

• Set up operating rooms with the appropriate instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Maintain sterile technique and help ensure compliance with infection control standards.
• Anticipate the surgical team’s needs and pass instruments during procedures.
• Assist with patient preparation and positioning.
• Complete required instrument and sponge counts before and after procedures.
• Clean, process, and restock equipment and supplies between cases.
• Check equipment readiness and report malfunctions or supply shortages.
• Complete required documentation and communicate relevant information to the nursing team.
• Follow established safety procedures, facility policies, and training requirements.

What You’ll Need

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• At least one year of healthcare experience
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical setting

Preferred

• Two or more years of operating room experience
• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist program
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential, where applicable
