Surveillance Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY

The Surveillance Supervisor ensures effective monitoring and security operations by closely supervising Surveillance Operators, providing support in incident reporting, and maintaining accurate documentation. They ensure the proper utilization of CCTV systems, assess performance, and offer timely feedback to improve skills. The supervisor fosters a high-performing team, sets clear directions, and upholds company policies. They also assist with staffing shortages, conduct regular training, liaise with other departments, and are flexible in taking on additional tasks to support overall surveillance efficiency and asset protection.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervision of Surveillance Operators

• Designate console assignment to ensure efficient deployment of operators.
• Prepare and conduct shift briefing to incoming team members for their awareness of the significant incident and important instructions.
• Monitor the performance of the operators by checking their wall monitor to ensure they are monitoring areas based on their designated console.
• Provide training and assistance to operators during introduction of a new system or a new process.

Report  and Footage Preparation and Verification

• Verify and closing of all reports created by the operators to ensure completeness, accuracy and all reports are factual based on the footage's prior release of the report.
• Verify and locking of all footage archived by the operators to ensure completeness, and availability.
• Prepare an investigation report and ensure the accuracy and all relevant details are included in the report.

Operate Different Surveillance Systems

• Operate different surveillance systems such as the CCTV system, card access system, Casino System and POS system to identify illegal activities and conduct audits.
• Ensure that the Facial Recognition System is working by conducting FRS checking.

Alarm Response

• Ensure that all alarms are monitored and properly escalated to the responding unit to ensure timely response.

Coordination to other Departments

• Coordinate with other Departments via two-way radio, telephone and mobile phone  and provide accurate information to responding units during incidents to ensure timely response.
• Inform respective Departments of the observation (safety, security or procedural violation) for immediate corrective action.

People Management

• Performance Management: Manage and drive high performance among direct reports, and help them achieve their performance goals . This also includes conducting performance evaluations.
• Coaching and Mentoring: Provides guidance to direct reports in performing their areas of responsibility, and supports their growth and development.
• Employee Engagement: Implement initiatives and provide a work environment that will promote employee engagement and high commitment to the company.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree of any course, preferably Criminology or any related course.
• Has a minimum total of 5 years of working experience in Surveillance. 2 years of which must be in a Supervisory/people management role.
• Must have Gaming Surveillance experience in a Casino or integrated resort, may be international and/or local.
• Must have knowledge in Surveillance systems and peripherals (card access, facial recognition, etc.).
• Must have a high level of understanding of Casino Gaming Protection.
• Has basic knowledge in MS Office applications and Google Workplace.
• Has good analytical, critical thinking and project management skills.
• Has good organization and time management skills.
• Shows high level of professionalism and integrity.
