SURVEY ASSISTANT

PRIMARY PURPOSE

With a Survey Assistant joining our Team, we can continue to ease such culture while also providing excellent service to ensure prompt completion of all survey activities. Will need to communicate with the whole Survey Team and report to the Surveyor and/or Chief Surveyor for efficient operation of survey instruments. With your critical thinking skills, you need to assist with various survey activities for proper data measurement and observation. You will manage other physical activities related to surveying and maintain the survey instruments, accessories and materials, as well as prepare Preliminary Survey Reports of the survey activities of the Survey Team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate any Survey Instrument in the absence of the Instrument Man and/or Surveyor.
• Se up Survey Instrument, run tapes, measure distance and elevations
• Prepare Preliminary Survey Reports of the survey activities of the Survey Team whenever necessary.
• Transport, assemble and care/safeguard the Survey Instruments, Accessories and Materials.
• Record As-built information onto plans or information sheets.
• Handle other physical requirements of the position.
• Performs other works related to survey activities as required by the Instrument Man, Surveyor and/or Chief Surveyor.

EDUCATION, TECHNICAL CAPABILITY

• At least High School Graduate
• With 2-4 years' work experience in Survey or Construction Company.
• Proficient AutoCAD, MS Office and Google Workspace.
