With the current revolution in American oil and gas, the Permian Basin has become one of the hottest oil and gas markets in North America. Surveying, mapping, drilling, mineral extraction, processing, material transportation, water management, and pipeline/facility construction activities are expected to multiply - driving an increasing demand for construction materials, equipment, industrial services, and labor resources. In addition to mineral extraction related efforts, resulting infrastructure improvements and expansion are already underway. Affected cities are in varying stages of addressing aging roads and water/wastewater infrastructure, together with increases in traffic, utility, and public services demands.

Position Description:

Our ideal candidate will be an individual with a strong detail-oriented work style, excellent math, and oral, written communication skills. A professional attitude and appearance and ability to communicate with all levels of management are required. The candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment with multiple concurrent assignments and constantly changing priorities. The candidate must be flexible to work overtime as required with little or no notice. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reposts, and legal description of survey to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed.

· Preparation of all data, charts, plot, maps, records, and documents related to survey.

· Preparation of the results of surveys including the shape, contour, location, elevation, clearance and dimensions of features.

· Search legal records, survey records, and land titles to obtain information about property boundaries in areas to be surveyed.

· Verify the accuracy of survey date including measurements and calculation conducted at survey site.

· Write description of property boundary surveys for use in deeds. Leases or other legal documents.

· Variety of surveys, Oil/Gas/Pipeline, Nuclear, Railroad, Construction, Commercial and Residential surveys.

Minimum Requirements:

As a qualified candidate, you would bring the following minimum set of skills and experience:

· At least 1-3 years of surveying experience.

· Experience with, Trimble, GPS and familiar with the latest electronic and digital equipment.

· Working knowledge of MS Office products, MS Outlook and US Explore.

· Pre-employment drug test with random test.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
