Survey Programmer | India | Remote

The Role

We are looking for a Survey Programmer to join the Talentra team in India, embedded full-time with a leading market research and insights firm. As a Survey Programmer, you will deliver high-quality online surveys in Decipher, working as a fully integrated member of the client's research operations team.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Build, test, and deploy online questionnaires in Decipher.
• Implement survey logic, quotas, validation, and multi-language scripting where required.
• Troubleshoot and amend live surveys; resolve scripting issues raised by the delivery team.
• Work collaboratively with project managers and analysts to meet client timelines and quality standards.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality.
• Apply rigorous QA and link testing before survey launch.
• Support continuous improvement of scripting standards and templates.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience using Decipher.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Excellent attention to detail and an analytical problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to prioritise and coordinate multiple projects to meet deadlines.
• Advanced English communication skills, written and verbal.
• Comfortable engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders, junior and senior.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Working Arrangements

• Based in India, remote, with all employment, payroll, and statutory benefits managed by Talentra under Indian law.
• Working hours aligned to Eastern Standard Time (EST), 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
• Fully embedded with the client's research operations team; you work as part of one client's team, not rotating between short projects
