Survey Technician 2

A Survey Tech 2 supports the Project Manager through efficient project production.  Must be self-motivated individual that works well in a team-oriented environment.  

Responsibility

1. Proficient understanding of Boundary/Right of Way resolution and all associated research.
2. Proficient understanding of Topographic Mapping and/or Route Surveys.
3. Proficient understanding of field surveying and data collection techniques.
4. Proficient skills in all related CAD software(s).
5. Proficient knowledge of local, State and County laws governing platting and/or GDOT Survey Manuel.
6. Proficient communications and relationship building skills.
7. Good technical writing skills.
8. When required, work nights and weekends projecting a high level of flexibility.
9. Proficient understanding and regular/daily assistance with implementation of Southeastern Engineering, Inc. CAD standards and/or GDOT Electronic Data Guidelines (EDG).
10. Proficient understanding and regular/daily assistance with implementation of Southeastern Engineering, Inc. surveying policies and procedures.
11. Proficient understanding of Southeastern Engineering, Inc. safety policies and procedures.
12. Meet and exceed all Survey Technician 1 requirements.
13. Additional duties as assigned.

• Valid Georgia Driver's License and ability to pass a Security Background check.
• Basic knowledge of various survey procedures.
• Various related CAD skills, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Minimum 2 years surveying field experience preferred.
