About the role

Konstruksi is seeking an experienced Surveyor to join our dynamic team based in Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, quality and compliance of our construction projects from inception through completion. As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting precise measurements, assessments and inspections of land, buildings and infrastructure to support our project delivery and maintain the highest standards of construction excellence. This role is integral to our operations and directly impacts the success and profitability of our projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive site surveys and prepare detailed survey reports documenting existing conditions, boundaries and topographical features
• Perform accurate measurements and levelling work using modern surveying equipment and technology to establish reference points and construction lines
• Prepare and update survey drawings, plans and technical documentation in accordance with project specifications and regulatory requirements
• Monitor and verify construction progress against approved plans, ensuring compliance with design specifications and contractual obligations
• Conduct quality inspections and defect audits throughout all construction phases to identify and document any deviations or non-conformances
• Establish and maintain survey control networks and benchmarks essential for accurate construction execution
• Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors and clients to communicate survey findings and address technical queries
• Prepare as-built surveys and documentation upon project completion to create accurate records of finished works
• Ensure all survey work complies with relevant standards, regulations and professional codes of practice
• Utilise surveying software and digital tools to process data and generate technical outputs

What we're looking for

• Relevant qualification in surveying, such as a diploma or degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Professional surveying credentials or registration with a recognised surveying body
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction surveying, preferably in a tropical climate or similar geographic context
• Proficiency in operating surveying instruments including theodolites, levels, GPS equipment and laser measuring devices
• Competence in surveying software and CAD programmes for data processing and plan preparation
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes and regulatory compliance requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all measurements and documentation
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings with precision
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Physical fitness and willingness to work on-site in varying weather conditions
• Problem-solving capability and adaptability in a dynamic construction environment
• Health and safety awareness with commitment to maintaining site safety standards
