We are a growing concrete and formwork contractor specializing in ICI (Industrial, Commercial, Institutional) foundation projects across the GTA. We pride ourselves on precision, efficiency, and delivering high-quality structural work.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Surveyor to support layout and surveying operations for foundation and concrete works. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accuracy for footings, walls, anchor bolts, and structural elements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform site layout and staking for:
• Footings, grade beams, and foundation walls
• Anchor bolts, embeds, and blockouts
• Read and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and survey plans
• Establish and maintain control points and benchmarks
• Operate surveying equipment such as:
• Total Station
• GPS (RTK) systems
• Laser levels
• Verify elevations, dimensions, and alignments before and during pours
• Coordinate with site supervisors, foremen, and engineers
• Maintain accurate survey reports and as-built records
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years experience in construction surveying (ICI preferred)
• Strong understanding of concrete and formwork layout
• Proficient with Total Station & survey software (Trimble, Leica, or Topcon)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and structural drawings
• Knowledge of Ontario construction practices and site conditions
• Valid G Driver’s License
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Assets (Preferred)

• Experience in foundation and formwork surveying
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or Civil 3D
• Experience with robotic total stations
• Working at Heights certification
