Surveyor

Join a new underground infrastructure program (An Australian first) at an early stage and help establish accurate, viable routes for a brand-new ducted network.

• Roster: 10 days on, 4 days off
• Salary: 10/4 roster (10 days on, 4 days off) working throughout NSW, LAFHA provided to cover accommodation and meals.

Duties

• Conduct site inspections and pre-construction surveys.
• Locate and document underground and above-ground services.
• Capture accurate GPS/GNSS survey data, coordinates, photographs and field records.
• Assess routes, hazards, obstacles and potential service clashes.
• Support construction, directional drilling, cable ploughing, ripper-dozer and underground infrastructure works.
• Maintain accurate records and submit timely reports in line with project requirements.

Skills & experience

• Experience in construction, civil, utilities, telecommunications or underground infrastructure.
• Proficiency with GPS/GNSS equipment and accurate digital field-data capture.
• Ability to locate services, interpret construction plans and identify hazards or clashes.
• Current driver’s licence; White Card and relevant construction tickets are desirable.
