Surveyor

We are seeking an accurate, detail-oriented Mid-Level Surveyor with 2 to 5 years of experience to independently manage field operations, process geospatial data, and help guide junior team members on engineering and construction projects.

You will bridge the gap between field data collection and final engineering design. You will operate advanced surveying equipment with minimal supervision, perform complex calculations, and draft precise maps and models using CAD software. This role requires a balance of outdoor technical work and indoor data processing, along with the ability to coordinate with project managers and clients.Core Responsibilities

• Field Leadership: Lead daily on-site surveying operations, managing the setup and operation of robotic total stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, and 3D laser scanners.
• Data Processing & Drafting: Translate raw field data into clean, accurate AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation models, boundary maps, and topographic surveys.
• Calculations & Analysis: Perform precise mathematical computations for construction staking, earthwork volumes, elevations, and coordinate geometry (COGO).
• Research & Verification: Review historical land records, deeds, property titles, and utility maps to establish accurate boundary lines.
• Mentorship: Oversee and train Junior Surveyors and Field Technicians, ensuring quality control, proper equipment handling, and safety protocol adherence.
• Quality Assurance: Cross-check field measurements against engineering blueprints to catch and resolve discrepancies before construction begins.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 to 5 years of practical surveying experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and modern surveying equipment.
• Soft Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude, problem-solving abilities, and clear communication skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and lift field equipment.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
