Surveyor, Infrastructure Programs

What To Expect As Surveyor, you will be playing a critical role in the construction of novel battery chemical plant(s) near Corpus Christi, TX. You will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive survey program. This role is critical to ensuring accurate spatial data, precise alignment, and seamless integration of survey deliverables across all project phases—from initial site development through construction completion and handover.

What You'll Do- Develop the complete survey program from inception

• Survey scopes of work, technical specifications, and contract documents for procurement

• Oversee all survey disciplines including geodetic and topographic surveys, construction staking and layout, as-built surveys and verification, monitoring and deformation surveys

• Ensure integration of survey data with engineering design models (BIM/CAD) and GIS platforms

• Evaluate and implement emerging survey technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy

• Build, lead, and mentor the internal survey team

• Coordinate survey activities with engineering, construction, and project controls teams What You'll Bring- Bachelor's Degree in Geomatics or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience (heavy industrial, oil & gas, complex chemical plants, refineries)

• Demonstrated experience developing survey programs for large-scale industrial projects (refineries, petrochemical, LNG, or similar preferred)

• Experience managing survey operations on projects exceeding $250M in value

• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license or equivalent certification preferred

• Expert knowledge of: total stations, GNSS/GPS systems, and digital levels, survey software (e.g., Leica Infinity, AutoCAD Civil 3D)
