Sushi Chef (Casual)

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented Chef to join our team and help create the UK's largest and most loved sushi brand.

This is an opportunity to join us on the ground floor, as we scale from three locations to hopefully hundreds of sites across the country and even internationally.

Anyone who joins now will have the opportunity to develop, lead and grow into a critical component of our national kitchen operation.

We are looking for skilled sushi chef who can seamlessly fit into our operation.

Responsibilities

• Support food preparation and cooking activities
• Efficiently rolling hand rolls to a high standard (you will be using a machine to ensure consistent quality)
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
• Working in a team environment with good energy and enthusiasm

Experience

• Experience working in a sushi restaurant will be favoured but not crucial
• Culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques
• Leadership abilities to effectively and proactively support kitchen operations
• Strong team work and communication skills
• A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional food experiences
• Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
