Duties

• Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision and artistry
• Make different kinds of sushi rolls
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station in accordance with food safety standards
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking
• Uphold all health and safety regulations to create a safe dining environment for guests and staff

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role in a fast-paced culinary setting
• Strong knowledge of sushi techniques, knife skills, and ingredient handling
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Passion for Japanese cuisine and continuous learning in culinary arts
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
