ZUMI is modern sushi restaurant in Southlake, Texas, and we’re building a passionate, talented culinary team from the ground up. If you're skilled in sushi preparation, enjoy working in a fast-paced, creative kitchen, and want to be part of something new and exciting — we want to meet you!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present high-quality sushi and sashimi
• Ensure food safety, freshness, and presentation standards
• Collaborate with the kitchen team and follow restaurant procedures
• Help with inventory, prep, and maintaining a clean, organized station
• Contribute to the creativity and evolution of our modern sushi menu

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a sushi chef or line cook (minimum 1 year preferred)
• Knowledge of sushi knife techniques, rolling, and plating
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Positive attitude and passion for Japanese cuisine
