Sushi Chef

Duties:

• Prepare sushi dishes according to recipes and customer preferences
• Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sushi preparation
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards in all aspects of sushi preparation
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as needed

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role
• Extensive knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and presentation styles
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent knife skills and dexterity
• Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and communicate effectively
• Creativity and passion for creating visually appealing and delicious sushi dishes
