Sushi Chef

Overview

We are looking for an experienced sushi chef to join our team at downtown's hottest new restaurant, Yuzu Sushi & Bar. If you want to develop your skills in Japanese cuisine with modern twists and fusions, work with a passionate group of people, and care about creating memorable customer experiences, we would be a perfect spot for you!

Requirements and Duties

• Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to standardized recipes, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations by following food safety sanitizing procedures diligently.
• Support high-volume food production during busy service times while adhering to recipe specifications and portion control.
• Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling techniques, including proper storage, temperature control, and cross-contamination prevention.

Current Shifts Needed

• Tuesday-Saturday 4:00pm-12:00am
• Sunday (as needed; overtime) 4:00pm - 10:00pm
• Different shifts will become available as business hours expand

Compensation and Perks
