Sushi Chef

Hamachi SLC is looking for an experienced Sushi Chef to prepare fresh, high-quality sushi, sashimi, nigiri, and specialty rolls. The ideal candidate takes pride in food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and working efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sushi, sashimi, nigiri, and specialty rolls.
• Ensure seafood and ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
• Maintain consistent food quality, portion sizes, and presentation.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Keep the sushi station clean and organized.
• Monitor inventory and minimize food waste.
• Work efficiently with the kitchen team during busy service hours.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing sushi and handling seafood.
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of sushi preparation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, organized, and attentive to detail.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Must be available to work weekends.
