Bushido Bahrain is looking for a Chef, well-experienced with Sushi Chef creations. Our venue is an eclectic collection of cuisines, signature cocktails and an exotic atmosphere bedecked with authentic artefacts and trappings.

Sushi Chef

Your role as a Sushi Chef is to be responsible for the smooth operation of your designated station within the kitchen. As aShushi Chef you should accept accountability for the quality and timing of what is produced by your team and must lead by example. You will be responsible to:

· Invent creative and flawless Sushi menu

· Ensure that a high standard of performance and operation is demonstrated at your allocated station(s).

· Demonstrate a full understanding of all aspects of the kitchen environment and how each aspect works together.

· Effectively manage the station team in a well-organized manner.

· Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of trade-skills, products and equipment.

· Demonstrate appropriate food handling as per HACCP and SOP.

· Ability to make creative suggestions for new menus and dishes.

· Assists colleagues on their stations, when needed.

Minimum qualifications:

· Good communication skills

· Team-player

· Friendly personality

· Creative and innovative

· Must able to communicate in English

· Knowledgeable in Arabic is a plus but not required
