Job Summary

We’re seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to prepare fresh, appealing sushi and support a smooth kitchen operation. You’ll bring culinary experience, careful food preparation, and a collaborative approach to each shift. Your impact: Consistent, thoughtfully prepared dishes help guests enjoy a satisfying dining experience.

Duties

• Prepare sushi, rolls, and related dishes according to recipes and food-safety practices.
• Select, handle, and store ingredients; keep workstations, tools, and kitchen areas clean.
• Coordinate with kitchen colleagues to manage preparation and service needs.
• Maintain consistent presentation and communicate ingredient or preparation concerns promptly.

Skills

• Essential: Culinary experience, cooking skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to follow food-safety procedures.
• Preferred: Sushi preparation experience and familiarity with Japanese cuisine.
• The supplied teaching, childcare, arts, dance, music, photography, sewing, and education skills are not relevant to this kitchen role.

Pay: $13.00 - $22.00 per hour
