Roka Akor is seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Cook to join our award-winning culinary team. Our sushi program highlights pristine ingredients, modern Japanese techniques, and uncompromising standards of precision, consistency, and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute all sushi menu items with accuracy, consistency, and artistic presentation
• Maintain exceptional cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards at the sushi counter
• Ensure the quality, freshness, and proper handling of all fish and ingredients
• Engage with guests in a professional manner while maintaining focus during service
• Collaborate closely with the culinary team to uphold Roka Akor’s fine-dining standards

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional sushi experience, preferably in a fine-dining setting
• Strong knife skills with in-depth knowledge of fish fabrication, rice preparation, and plating
• Exceptional attention to detail, cleanliness, and consistency
• Ability to perform calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
