What they need
- Assist the sushi chef with daily preparation and service.
- Prepare and portion fish, rice, garnishes, sauces, and other ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi bar, kitchen, and workstations.
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store knives, utensils, cutting boards, and equipment.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating fresh seafood and ingredients.
- Support the chef during omakase service by preparing plates and ingredients efficiently.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage temperatures.
- Help with opening and closing duties, including restocking and cleaning.
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, and restaurant procedures.
- Provide professional and attentive support to the sushi chef and service team.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
