An international consumer goods organisation is looking for an experienced Sustainability Reporting & Stakeholder Manager to lead the delivery of its annual Sustainability Impact Report. This role sits at the centre of multiple business functions and is responsible for ensuring timely, high-quality sustainability disclosures while coordinating a broad group of stakeholders across global markets.

This is a highly visible position requiring strong programme management capabilities, stakeholder engagement skills, and experience navigating complex reporting environments, including sustainability and ESG-related reporting processes.

Responsibilities

Sustainability Reporting Programme Management

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of the annual Sustainability Impact Report.
• Develop and maintain project plans, reporting timelines, milestones, and governance frameworks.
• Coordinate contributions from sustainability, finance, legal, HR, procurement, operations, and communications teams.
• Monitor progress, manage dependencies, and escalate risks when required.
• Ensure all reporting deliverables are completed on time and to expected quality standards.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of coordination between contributors, subject matter experts, and senior leadership.
• Drive alignment across multiple business functions and international teams.
• Prepare governance materials, briefing papers, and executive updates.
• Facilitate steering committees, reporting workstreams, and governance meetings.
• Manage external partners, advisors, and assurance providers.

Reporting Excellence

• Coordinate content collection and review cycles.
• Manage approval processes and reporting governance.
• Support implementation of sustainability reporting standards and disclosure requirements.
• Drive continuous process improvements and reporting efficiencies.
• Maintain reporting documentation, ownership matrices, and reporting calendars.

Assurance & Compliance

• Coordinate activities with internal and external assurance teams.
• Support evidence collection and audit documentation requests.
• Ensure reporting obligations are reflected within project planning.
• Track remediation actions and assurance findings.

Data & KPI Coordination

• Coordinate sustainability KPI collection and validation.
• Work closely with data owners to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Support dashboard development and performance tracking.
• Maintain source documentation and reporting inventories.

Required Experience

• 7-10 years' experience in project management, sustainability reporting, ESG reporting, programme management, consulting, or communications.
• Proven track record managing large cross-functional programmes involving senior stakeholders.
• Experience delivering complex reporting or regulatory programmes.
• Experience working within an international corporate environment.
