About the role

We are seeking a Sustainability Representative to join our team in Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in advancing our clients' sustainability agendas and supporting BASIC Environmental Systems & Technologies' commitment to environmental excellence. As a Sustainability Representative, you will be the key point of contact for clients seeking to understand, implement, and achieve their sustainability goals. This role is strategically important as it bridges the gap between our consulting expertise and client needs, ensuring that sustainability initiatives are effectively communicated, understood, and embedded within client organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary sustainability consultant and advisor to assigned clients, providing guidance on environmental best practices and sustainability strategy implementation

• Develop and deliver sustainability reports, presentations, and recommendations tailored to client needs and objectives

• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction

• Monitor regulatory changes and environmental standards to ensure client compliance and inform strategic recommendations

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, updates, and follow-up on sustainability initiatives

• Participate in industry events, workshops, and training to remain current with sustainability trends and best practices

• Prepare documentation and proposals for new sustainability projects and business opportunities

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex sustainability concepts to diverse audiences
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with sustainability reporting tools or software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced consulting environment
• Knowledge of the Philippine environmental regulations and local sustainability landscape is highly desirable
