SVP Data Center

Metric is partnered with a rapidly scaling AI infrastructure company that is building something very different from the traditional data center model.

They are building a vertically integrated AI infrastructure platform.

They are now looking for a SVP to become one of the foundational leaders of the infrastructure organization.

The strongest profiles will have genuine breadth across data center infrastructure, power, compute, networking and operations, alongside experience taking large infrastructure programs from concept through build to operation.

Just as importantly, you should have experience building teams and infrastructure from the ground up, rather than simply operating within an established organization.

What makes this role different?

You will help design the architecture, build the team and establish the operating model that will be used as the company scales.

Role Scope:

• Data center engineering, design and architecture

• Power and energy infrastructure

• High-density GPU infrastructure

• Networking and digital infrastructure

• Commissioning, bring-up and operations

• Infrastructure strategy and repeatable site architecture

• Building and leading the founding infrastructure team

• Taking projects from design through deployment and ongoing operation

There is significant autonomy in the role, with the opportunity to directly influence the infrastructure strategy, technical architecture and organization as the business scales.
