SVP Engine Trading

A leading international aviation platform is seeking an experienced aviation professional to lead their global engine leasing, trading, and asset management activities. This is a commercially focused role with responsibility for engine strategy, asset valuation, lease structuring, lifecycle management, and transaction execution across a diverse portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Originate and support engine acquisition, trading, sale-leaseback, leasing, and remarketing opportunities.
• Manage engine-related aspects of transactions, including LOIs, lease negotiations, asset transitions, repossessions, and disposals.
• Develop engine valuations, maintenance cost forecasts, and pricing recommendations.
• Monitor market trends, maintenance economics, and asset performance to optimise portfolio value.
• Build relationships with airlines, lessors, MROs, OEMs, and other industry stakeholders.
• Work closely with technical, legal, and commercial teams to execute transactions and manage risk.

Requirements

• 10+ years' experience in aircraft engine leasing, trading, asset management, technical-commercial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of commercial aircraft engines, maintenance reserves, lease structures, and engine lifecycle economics.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating lease agreements, LOIs, and maintenance provisions.
• Established industry network and strong stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent analytical, commercial, and communication abilities.
• Degree-qualified in Engineering, Aviation, Business, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
