About the role

As SVP/EVP of Data & Artificial Intelligence, you'll define and operationalize the enterprise data and AI strategy — from operating model design through to scaling generative AI and machine learning into production. This is a strategy-first mandate: while the role spans data governance, AI innovation, and team leadership, your proven ability to set and execute enterprise-wide data and AI strategy is what matters most from day one. The role also carries the mandate to scale our data and AI function as it grows.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute an enterprise data and AI strategy aligned to core business objectives
• Design the operating model for data and AI — ecosystems, architecture, and delivery
• Translate technical initiatives into business outcomes and secure executive buy-in through measurable ROI
• Establish and lead an enterprise Data & AI governance forum with executive sponsorship
• Champion a data-driven culture and uplift data literacy across the organization, including at the C-suite level
• Oversee the development and scaling of predictive models, ML, and generative AI applications into production
• Establish a Responsible AI framework covering ethics, bias mitigation, explainability, and regulatory compliance
• Build, develop, and eventually scale a multidisciplinary data and AI team
• Act as a key data and AI advisor to the Board and executive leadership

About you

• 10–15+ years of progressive experience in data management, analytics, and technology, including 5+ years in an executive leadership capacity (e.g., CDO, CAO, VP Data/AI)
• Strong, demonstrable experience in data and AI strategy
• Proven track record deploying AI/ML models into production at enterprise scale
• Experience integrating complex, cross-functional data and information strategies
• Familiarity with modern data architectures (AWS/Azure), ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and LLM ecosystems
• Awareness of AI governance frameworks and emerging regulation (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF) and data frameworks (DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM, COBIT)
• Master's or PhD in a relevant quantitative field is a strong plus, but a Bachelor's degree with strong industry experience is entirely acceptable
