Job Summary

The Sweeper/Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas of the hotel, including public areas, corridors, entrances, service areas, and other designated spaces. The successful candidate should be hardworking, punctual, physically fit, and attentive to cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and clean assigned areas regularly.
• Maintain cleanliness of corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairways, and common areas.
• Clean and maintain designated service and staff areas.
• Empty dustbins and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean floors, surfaces, windows, and other areas as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness around the hotel premises and surrounding areas.
• Use cleaning materials and equipment safely and correctly.
• Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues, leaks, or other problems to the supervisor.
• Follow hotel hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are used responsibly and report shortages when required.
• Assist the housekeeping team during busy periods or special events.
• Perform other cleaning and support duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, office, hospital, or commercial property is preferred.
• Basic understanding of cleaning and hygiene practices.
• Physically fit and capable of performing cleaning duties for extended periods.
• Hardworking, punctual, honest, and responsible.
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Good personal hygiene and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Formal education is not mandatory.
• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience will be an advantage.
