Parking Lot Sweeper Driver A CDL is NOT required to drive the sweeper trucks. Our 3rd shift starts from 7:00 pm ends around 6:00 am

Description of the sweeper driver position.

1.Driver will drive sweeper truck to a job. Use a back pack blower to blow out trash at each site. Sweep up trash with truck

2. Perform basic pre-trip inspection, which includes oil level, tire pressure, burnt out lights etc.

3. Drive the truck from job to job

4. Sweeping on job site includes: sweeping parking lot, empty garbage cans and doing necessary hand work with back pack blower, push broom and shovel.

5. Dump the truck and use rake to pull out debris out of truck

6. Complete paperwork upon completion of night

7. Read maps and follow driving directions.

8. Good knowledge of traffic regulations and safe driving practices.

9. Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.

10. Ability to work independently, customer service skills, organizational skills, and a positive attitude are required.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Training will constitute of a supervisor riding with you to do the training on-site until you are ready to sweep.

2. Punctuality and honesty are expected. After training is complete you are on your own and are expected to perform in a professional manner and quality work.

3. Must have ability to speak, understand, write and read English.

4. Able to lift 50 lbs. and climb in and out of equipment.

5. Able to work around dirt, dust, and noise associated with heavy equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
