Swim Coach & Operations Executive

About the role

This is a Swim Coach & Operations Executive position at a swim centre. You will conduct swim classes for babies, toddlers, and young children, support senior coaches, and gradually take on independent teaching responsibilities. You will also assist with daily operations including class scheduling, student registration, bookings, attendance records, and administrative tasks, while ensuring pool safety and cleanliness are maintained at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct swim classes for babies, toddlers, and young children (training provided)
• Support senior coaches during classes and gradually take on independent teaching responsibilities
• Provide basic progress feedback to parents and assist with lesson preparation
• Assist with daily class scheduling, student registration, and class coordination
• Manage bookings, attendance records, and basic administrative tasks
• Communicate class schedules and updates to parents
• Support the daily operations of the swim centre
• Ensure pool safety and cleanliness are maintained at all times
• Set up and pack up the pool area before and after classes
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards for the pool, equipment, and facilities

About you

• Able to work weekends (required)
• Background in sports, fitness, childcare, or teaching is an advantage
• Relevant swimming, first aid, or lifesaving certifications are an advantage (if applicable)
