Swim Coach — Stroke Development

Do you love coaching your summer league swim team? Wish you could coach swimmers like that all year long?

FINS Swimming is looking for enthusiastic Head Swim Coaches who are passionate about helping swimmers build confidence, refine technique, and develop a lifelong love of the sport.

Our Head Coaches work with intermediate and advanced swimmers (typically ages 6–18) in small-group settings, leading engaging 30–75 minute practices focused on stroke development, endurance, and overall swimming skills. Every practice combines technical instruction with encouragement, positive feedback, and plenty of fun.

Whether you're a former competitive swimmer, summer league coach, club swimmer, or simply someone who enjoys mentoring young athletes, we'd love to have you on our team.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for coaches who:

• Have competitive swimming and/or previous swim coaching experience.
• Enjoy working with children and helping them grow as swimmers and individuals.
• Can confidently teach and refine proper stroke technique across all four competitive strokes.
• Create an encouraging, energetic, and positive learning environment.
• Provide individualized feedback that helps swimmers continue improving.
• Arrive prepared, communicate professionally, and bring enthusiasm to every practice.
