Swim Instructor

Ladera Oaks is a private member-owned swim, tennis and fitness club nestled on four creek-side acres in the beautiful Portola Valley foothills. The Club offers high quality recreation and competitive training programs in a relaxed friendly family atmosphere.

Swim Instructor:

Teach students (toddlers to adults) how to swim and how to improve their skills in the water.

Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks:

• Responsible for the safety of your own students.
• Teach private & semi-private swim lessons to kids and adults of all abilities.
• Help Lifeguards enforce all clubs policies and pool rules.
• Provide quality customer service to all clients and members.
• Assist with special club projects, events and promotions.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Current American Red Cross CPR/AED and FIRST AID Certifications
• Must know how to swim in shallow & deep water.
• Ability to demonstrate skills to students.
• Ability to verbally explain skills to students.

Work Requirements:

• Able to work in 88 degree water for a period of time.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs, including assisting students in and out of the water.
• Able to climb in and out of the pool
